I’m sure you have lots of questions after reading the title? What, How, Why .. etc

Well, I’ve always wanted to do this because I feel like this website is not just a fansite thats run by particular people, Its more like a community where all the fans can come here and meet each other, discuss topics and just have fun. I think I have to take this step now cuz after 4 years, Selena Fan has a larger audience and I just want to take a step forward and do something new and let the visitors have a bigger role and simply be more involved. We already have a forum filled with amazing members It would be awesome if you join but this project is probably a bit different!

What: Well, since we are now using wordpress that has with lots of awesome options. Now you can register at the site and post News, Photos, Articles, Videos, Reviews.. Anything you wanna post in here. And it will published on the main site or on a sub-page depending on the post. The point is that you can become a member at the site and have the ability to post.

How: All you need to do is register at this page, then you’ll receive your password, when you receive the password, Login from here. Then,  simply just click “Add New” under posts in the wordpress dashboard and you’re ready to go. Once you’re done I’ll review your post and if its accepted it will appear on the site and you’ll get a message that its been posted.

Before anything please keep in mind that I’m still exploring wordpress’s new features and still developing this new project. There will probably be some changes in the future to make it better and I’m always ready to hear your comments and suggestions and I promise that I’ll take them in consideration.

Of course not all posts will be accepted! There’s a set of rules that you need to be aware of before posting!
1: Your Post must be related to Selena in some way!
2: Please make sure the news you post haven’t been posted before.
3: If you are going to post an article, fan story or a review. I can’t promise you that It will appear on the main page, but it will definitely be uploaded on a sub-page linked to the main site. After all it 100% depends on your post!
4: There’s no room for haters on this site! Please understand that this is a fansite so if you register and plan to post mean, hateful posts, your post won’t be accepted and you will be banned from posting again.

So until now these are the set of rules, I will keep them updated whenever needed.

Additional Information:
1: The username you register with isn’t  necessary the one that will appear in the posts. You can always change your Nickname which is the name that will appear in your posts next to “Author”!
2: As a start if you wanna add photos please upload them somewhere like imageshack.us and post the thumbnails code in the HTML section! NO HOTLINKING! But of course you can Hotlink from the site!
3: If you don’t know HTML its fine, I will try to fix your post if it has any missing codes .. etc After all you can just use the “visual” section rather than the HTML if you don’t know a lot about it
4: To post videos add the embed code to the HTML section

idk if i’ll sign up… i don’t have anything important to say on a regular basis… and i’m normally late to finding any new news… I’ll probably still sign up, but i might only use it on a rare occasion… I’m more of a response writer than an article writer… this is a very intriguing idea though…

Perhaps you might need to hire some people as “editors” so that you don’t have to carry the whole load of moderation alone. I know html like the back of my hand and i would most certainly be willing to assist in that way. However, if DudeWho from the forum is reading this, i really think you should sign up and post your WOWP reviews; they’re really good an you should totally get them posted on the main site!!
